SURFACE PREPARATION
-
General Cleaning: Surfaces must be structurally sound, dry, clean, and free from dirt, grease, oil, and loose matter.
-
Debris Removal: Remove all loose or defective paint, powdery residues, and dust by scraping or high-pressure water jetting (highly recommended for roofs).
-
Biological Treatment: Treat areas affected by fungus or algae growth with Nippon Paint Fungicidal Wash and rinse thoroughly with water.
-
Repair: Replace any cracked or broken roof tiles before painting. Ensure the surface is completely dry before application.
-
Moisture Content: Ensure the substrate is dry. Trapped moisture can cause the paint to bubble or peel when exposed to the sun.
