PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Nippon Paint Hydro Anti-Stick Clear is a high-performance, two-pack water-based acrylic polyurethane clear coating specifically designed to combat illegal sticker pasting and graffiti. This innovative "Anti-Sticker" coating creates a unique low-surface-energy finish that prevents high-tack adhesives from bonding firmly to the substrate. It allows for the easy removal of stickers, posters, and glue residues without damaging the underlying paint. Additionally, its robust chemical resistance makes it effective against graffiti, allowing for easier cleaning. Being water-based, it is an environmentally friendly "Green Choice" product with low VOC and low odor, making it ideal for public infrastructure, lamp posts, electrical substations, and commercial building pillars.

Application Instructions

• Mixing: Stir the Base (Part A) thoroughly. Add the Hardener (Part B) into the Base according to the mixing ratio. Use a mechanical stirrer to mix for 2–3 minutes until completely homogeneous.

• Application Method: Apply using a high-quality Brush, Roller, or Conventional Spray.

• Pot Life Caution: Do not use the mixture beyond the 2-hour pot life, as the performance and adhesion will be significantly compromised.

• Cleaning: Clean all tools and equipment with clean water immediately after use.

• Note: Ensure the surface temperature is at least 3°C above the dew point and relative humidity is below 85% during application.

Recommended Coating System

• Sealer/Primer (1 Coat): 5100 Wall Sealer / Ultra Sealer / Aqua Epoxy Primer (for metal/concrete).

• Topcoat (2 Coats): Nippon Weatherbond Series / Nippon PU Recoatable Finish (Desired color).

• Clear Coat (2 Coats): Hydro Anti-Stick Clear.

• Note: The clear coat must be applied over a fully cured and clean topcoat for maximum effectiveness.

Surface Preparation

• General Cleaning: Ensure the underlying topcoat is thoroughly dry, clean, and free from dirt, grease, dust, and loose matter.

• Existing Residue: If applying over a previously painted surface, ensure all old sticker glue or graffiti is completely removed using a suitable solvent or scraper.

• Sanding: If the existing topcoat is very glossy or has been cured for a long time, lightly sand the surface with fine-grit sandpaper to improve the mechanical bond of the Anti-Stick Clear.

• Dryness: The substrate must be dry. Do not apply during rain or if the surface is damp, as moisture will affect the chemical curing of the two-pack system.
