Cleaning: After use, turn the can upside down and press the spray head for 2 – 3 seconds to clear the valve and prevent clogging.
-
Safety: Use in a well-ventilated area. Do not spray near open flames or high-heat sources.
Recommended Coating System
-
Primer (1 Coat): Pylox Lazer Surfacer (Grey or White) to improve adhesion and color vibrancy.
-
Topcoat (2-3 Coats): Pylox Lazer (desired color).
-
Clear Coat (Optional): Pylox Lazer Clear for added protection and enhanced gloss.
Surface Preparation
-
General Cleaning: Ensure the surface is completely clean, dry, and free from grease, oil, and dust.
-
Rust/Loose Paint: Remove any existing rust or peeling paint using sandpaper or a wire brush. Sand the surface lightly to create a "key" for better paint adhesion.
-
Wood Surfaces: Ensure the wood is sanded smooth and all dust is wiped off with a tack cloth.
-
Metal Surfaces: For bare metal, degrease with a solvent and ensure no moisture is present before spraying.
-
Masking: Use masking tape and paper to protect surrounding areas from over-spray.
