PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Nippon Paint Roadline Paint (Non-Reflective) is a fast-drying, solvent-based acrylic alkyd resin paint specifically designed for road marking and traffic management. Unlike the reflective version, this paint provides a solid, matte finish without glass beads, making it ideal for areas where high-intensity night reflection is not required but high visibility and durability are essential. It is engineered to withstand heavy mechanical wear, oil, and grease, making it perfect for marking center lines, edge lines, car parks, and factory floor zones. Its quick-drying formula ensures minimal downtime and rapid return to service for high-traffic areas.

Application Instructions
-
Application Method: Apply using a high-quality Brush, Roller, or Conventional Air Spray.
-
Dilution: Stir the paint thoroughly before use. The product is typically ready for use. For spray application, thin with a maximum of 5% Nippon Roadline Thinner.
-
Cleaning: Clean all tools and application equipment with Nippon Roadline Thinner or Turpentine immediately after use.
-
Safety Note: This product is flammable. Ensure the application area is well-ventilated and kept away from heat, sparks, and open flames.
Recommended Coating System
-
Primer (Optional): Generally not required for bitumen/asphalt surfaces. For very porous or chalky concrete, a coat of 5100 Wall Sealer may be applied to improve adhesion.
-
Topcoat (1-2 Coats): Roadline Paint (Non-Reflective).
-
Note: For optimal durability on concrete, ensure the surface is etched or mechanically roughened if it is exceptionally smooth.
Surface Preparation
-
General Cleaning: The surface must be dry, clean, and free from dirt, grease, oil, and loose matter.
-
Debris Removal: Remove all loose or defective paint, powdery residues, and dust by sweeping or using high-pressure air.
-
Oil & Grease: Remove oil and grease stains using a suitable detergent or solvent; ensure the surface is completely dry before painting.
-
Dryness: Do not apply during wet weather or if the surface is damp. Moisture trapped under the film will cause the paint to peel.
-
Concrete Surfaces: New concrete must be allowed to cure for at least 28 days before application to ensure the moisture content is low enough for proper bonding.
