PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Nippon Paint Multi-Purpose Floor Coating is a high-performance water-based acrylic coating specifically formulated for use on various floor surfaces. It is a single-component, easy-to-use paint that provides a durable, smooth, and aesthetically pleasing finish. This coating is designed to withstand light traffic and is highly resistant to weathering, making it suitable for both interior and exterior applications. It features excellent adhesion to concrete, masonry, and even some metal surfaces. As an environmentally friendly "Green Choice" product, it is low in VOC, low in odor, and non-toxic, making it ideal for walkways, porches, badminton courts, and light-duty industrial floors.

Application Instructions

Application Method: Apply using a high-quality Brush, Roller, or Conventional Air Spray.

Dilution: Stir the paint thoroughly before use. For the first coat on porous surfaces, a 5-10% dilution with water can help penetration. The second coat should be applied undiluted.

Cleaning: Clean all tools and equipment with clean water immediately after use.

Note: Avoid application during wet weather or if rain is expected within 2-4 hours. Allow the coated floor to cure for at least 24 hours before allowing light foot traffic.
Recommended Coating System

Primer/Sealer (1 Coat): 5100 Wall Sealer / 5500 Wall Sealer / Aqua Epoxy Primer (for better performance on concrete).

Topcoat (2 Coats): Multi-Purpose Floor Coating.

Note: For areas requiring extra grip, specialized non-skid silica sand can be broadcasted onto the first coat while still wet.
Surface Preparation

General Cleaning: Surfaces must be dry, clean, and free from dirt, grease, oil, and loose matter.

Concrete Substrates: New concrete must be allowed to cure for at least 28 days. The moisture content must be below 16% and alkalinity below pH 9.

Laitance Removal: Remove all concrete laitance, dust, and loose particles by wire brushing or mechanical grinding to ensure a sound substrate.

Biological Treatment: Treat areas affected by fungus or algae growth with a suitable fungicidal wash solution and rinse thoroughly.

Repair: Fill cracks and surface imperfections with suitable masonry fillers or epoxy putty before application.
