This kitchen brings to life a modern cozy kitchen concept — a warm, inviting space that blends grey and wood-textured melamine cabinets with a white porcelain countertop. Designed by Carte Kitchen, it balances modern aesthetics with family-friendly functionality, creating a timeless look that feels both elegant and comforting. The subtle wood grains soften the clean lines, while the porcelain countertop adds durability and a touch of luxury — a combination that defines modern kitchen design in Malaysia today.
From a Dream in KL to Reality in the North
For Mr. Baiduri, this kitchen was more than a renovation — it was a dream long in the making. Years ago, when the couple lived in KL, they envisioned creating their ideal kitchen with Carte Kitchen. Fate led them to the north, and their dream followed. Today, their new home finally features the custom kitchen cabinets they once imagined — crafted with heart, precision, and purpose.
Co-Creating with Carte Kitchen
In collaboration with our designer Paris from the Bukit Mertajam showroom, every detail was personalized to suit the family’s lifestyle. From the choice of melamine cabinet finishes to the soft-tone palette, the result is a kitchen that reflects warmth, connection, and functionality. This design shows how custom kitchen design can transform everyday spaces into meaningful experiences.

Beyond its modern finishes, this kitchen tells a story — one of love, growth, and shared moments. From the first cake Ms. Baiduri baked for her husband years ago to the meals they now prepare together, this space carries their memories forward. What started as a husband’s wish to build a beautiful kitchen for his wife has become a home filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories.
