PPG Hi-Temp 1027 is a single component, high-build heat-resistant inert multipolymeric matrix / inorganic ceramic coating designed as a prevention measure for
corrosion under insulation (CUI) while also providing resistance for extreme temperature, ranging from
-185 Celsius to 650 Celsius.
This protective coating is developed to
prevent corrosion in insulated and non-insulated services for carbon and stainless steel over an
extreme temperature range. The ability to apply this coating to hot steel can
reduce plant shutdowns and therefore
lower potential revenue losses.
Key Features:
-
Primer, Topcoat Finish, or a single coat system for insulated/non-insulated services of extreme temperature ranges
-
Excellent resistance to boiling water in intermittent immersion
-
Heat and thermal shock resistance
-
Direct application for hot steel up to 316 Celsius
-
Excellent choice for maintenance - easy for touch up and repair
-
Simple to use
Recommended Uses:
-
Industrial equipment and pipelines
-
Insulated and non-insulated services of extreme temperature
